  2. I learned that budgeting money can help you keep track of where your money is going, where you need to spend your money in the future, and can help you plan to save up for something that costs more. This information is important because it tells me that I need to keep a budget in the future when I start making money so that I can keep track of my expenses. I originally learned about this from my mom and her husband when they created their first budgeting system sometime last year.

  3. Over the last two classes I have learned that budgeting money is important regardless of how much you make. It will help you to have money for emergencies, and will leave you prepared for handling the monthly expenses that you have. This information is important to have because you don't want to end up getting yourself into debt and all sorts of trouble when you could easily prevent it with a simple plan. My parents always nag me about saving my money for the things i really want/need.

  4. I learned that it is very important for the future and keeping track of your own money.
It's important because everyone needs to be able to know how much money they are spending and where, also to see where they should spend money in the future. While being able to make sure they are saving money for their bills and personal things. Yes, my parents have taught me some about it, every time they pay bills or we go to the bank. They have told me that it will help me in the future to learn it now so I can stay on top of my savings and all my bills.

A fixed budget remains constant monthly, a variable budget changes monthly, and a periodic expense is something that you would not usually but every month. This is important because by having an idea of your monthly expenses will help you to plan a budget. I have previously heard about these finances, but not the specific terms used in class.
